IBEDC Lights up Mashallahu Community with New Transformer, Kwara State
The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company has once again taken a giant step towards achieving its objectives of total electrification of its franchise area. The residents of Mashallahu were made to smile as a brand new transformer was installed in the community in April 2017. Before now, the area had been in a blackout as a result of the deficiencies of the now defunct PHCN. However when the company took over, plans were made to remedy the situation resulting in the new transformer among other ongoing efforts to the community. His Royal highness, Soun of Ogbomosoland, HRM Oba (Dr.) Oladunni Oyewunmi while receiving the Head, Branding and Corporate Communications (Mrs. Angela Olarenwaju) thanked the management of IBEDC for such a timely effort in bringing succour to the community. He promised full cooperation with IBEDC for the regular payment of bills and to ensure that the facility is protected from vandals. Mrs. Angela Olanrewaju in her response, said that this was just the beginning of better things to come as the company will leave no stone unturned in its effort to change the electricity landscape within its franchise area. The residents had nothing but words of encouragement and promised to continue to foster the budding relationship.
